At mycar, not only do we offer great service at great prices, but in the unlikely event that something does go wrong we encourage you to talk to us about it.
mycar warrants our products and services to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the periods stated below from the date of purchase (provided the conditions below are met). This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We offer a Lifetime guarantee on all work performed at mycar.
We offer a 24,000kms or 24 month guarantee (whichever occurs first) on all new parts supplied and installed by our qualified technicians.
At mycar we offer a lifetime tread guarantee against manufacturing faults and limited to pro-rata replacement, calculated on the remaining tread depth.
Warranties on batteries range from 12 to 36 months, depending on the type of battery purchased.

- Is in addition to your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Lifetime guarantee is voided if any service or repair by a mycar store is subsequently repaired or modified by a service provider not authorised by mycar.
- Guarantee available at any mycar store nationally.
- Parts guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or normal service life
- Guarantee voided if any misuse of vehicle or unsafe or inappropriate driving practices are utilised.
mycar will repair or exchange (where possible) the product or service if it becomes defective within the warranty period. mycar will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty.
This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect or where subsequently repaired or modified by an unauthorised service agent.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or normal service life and excludes maintenance items, such as globes, wiper blades, lubricants and fluids.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
