How much is a Mazda CX5 battery?

On average, Mazda CX5 battery prices can start anywhere from $150-$200 and go well over the $450 mark if you’re looking for a premium or specialist battery. It’s important to keep in mind that this does not include any other fitting costs.

How long do Mazda CX5 batteries last?

While your vehicle itself doesn’t exactly have an expiry date, unfortunately your Mazda CX5 car battery does! The average car battery lasts between 3 and 5 years, with most batteries edging towards the latter. The exact lifespan of a car battery depends on a number of different factors from how the car is driven, lights being left on, and even extremes in climate.

It’s important to look for signs of age and wear in your Mazda CX5 car battery:

  • A slow engine crank
  • An illuminated check engine light or battery signal
  • Bloated battery case
  • Corroded battery terminals
  • Subpar electrical performance

All of these can signal that your battery is on its way out. If you notice any of these signs or symptoms, it might be time to give us a call, or ask us during your next regular service.

What kind of battery does a Mazda CX5 use?

The car battery for Mazda CX5 that comes standard off the lot is usually a flooded lead acid battery. Obviously this can vary from model to model. If in doubt, check your owner’s manual, look at the battery currently housed in your car and if all else fails, it’s time to chat to the expert mechanics at mycar.

How much does it cost to change a Mazda CX5 battery?

When that battery eventually falls flat, how much will a Mazda CX5 battery replacement cost? At mycar, we bring you quality car batteries and at an all-inclusive price starting from $189.

Not only do we install the new battery, we also dispose of your old car battery through TyreCycle – this is our way of ensuring old parts and battery fluid don’t become part of landfill!
