mycar continues expansion with the first store opening of 2022, located in Preston, Victoria

Today marks the opening of mycar’s Preston store, the first new store launch for mycar this year as it expands current East Coast operations to cater for growing demand in the region. Located in north Melbourne, the new mycar store offers consumers the latest car care technology and innovative customer solutions, delivering a full range of automotive services including scheduled servicing, logbook services, tyres, brakes, suspension, batteries and general mechanical repairs.

The Preston store continues mycar's growth seen throughout 2021 and throughout the pandemic. With a 14.5 percent increase in vehicle sales in 2021 compared to 2020, the mycar Preston store opening delivers much-needed infrastructure to support the growing number of cars on VIC roads.

Commenting on the opening of the Preston location, Adam Pay, Managing Director of mycar, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be kicking off our first store opening of 2022 in Preston, and proud to keep expanding our state-wide footprint. The mycar Preston store will employ up to four new mycar team members, reporting to mycar Operations Manager, Toby Axford.
