FAQs

How long does it take to charge a BYD Atto 3?

This really depends on the charger. Using DC fast charging will take 45 minutes to go from 10% to 80%. However, the Atto is capped at 88 kw, so even if you use a faster charger, it’ll take the same amount of time. If you have a 7 kW wall charger installed, charging time goes up to around 9 hours, and if you simply plug it into your wall socket, expect to wait 29 hours.

What is the battery life of a BYD Atto 3?

The BYD Atto comes with both a Standard 50.1kWh and an Extended 60.4kWh battery range model. In the Standard range, the battery has 320 km range, while the Extended model will take you 420 km before it needs charging (based on WLTC testing). Of course, this all depends on things like your accessory usage, what kind of driving you’re doing, air conditioning usage, and other factors.

Which car is similar to the BYD Atto 3?

The BYD Atto is a medium sized crossover SUV, and has been likened to the MG ZS EV, which is another entry-level contender in the EV market. It’s also similar to the Hyundai Kona and the Kia Niro EV, although these come at a higher price-point.
