Why regular EV servicing matters

Although an EV has fewer moving parts and requires less maintenance than a petrol powered car, it’s still important to have it serviced regularly. This applies not only to new cars but ageing EVs too.

Why? Regular EV servicing can improve long-term battery health, identifying hidden damage and restoring individual cells with the latest EV technology, including CT scans and X-rays. It can also increase horsepower by installing additional electric motors to the wheels and axles and ensure smoother performance by rotating wheels, maintaining cooling systems, updating software and more.

At mycar, we can help prevent minor issues from becoming major (and highly expensive) problems in the long run, providing drivers in the Newcastle area with high quality EV care and maintenance.
