Is your car due for some TLC?

You don’t need to wait for an obvious problem before booking in for a service. In fact, the best way to avoid those bigger, more costly issues is to keep on top of a regular service schedule. For most cars, that will mean coming in every six months, or every 10,000km driven.

Logbook servicing is the option we recommend for new-car owners. Your mycar mechanic will check the physical logbook that came with your car and carry out the maintenance tasks listed, before signing off the relevant page. Not only does this ensure your car stays in top condition, it can really boost the resale value of your car to have a stamped logbook.

Basic servicing is a budget-friendly way to keep your older car healthy. At mycar, we offer two levels of basic service. Our Essential Service will see your car kitted out with a brand new oil filter and up to 6 litres of premium engine oil, as well as carrying out a detailed vehicle inspection to look for signs of wear and damage. With an Essential Plus service, you’ll get all that, plus:

  • Engine management system scan
  • Wheel rotation as required
  • 12 months free roadside assistance
