Whether you drive a Betty, Barry, Bessie or Bernie Barina, we recommend a mycar Battery for your little Holden.

Signs your Holden Barina may need a new battery

Most Barina batteries have a lifespan of 3 to 5 years, but this isn’t always a standard rule. Not sure whether your car is due for a replacement? Here are a few warning signs to look out for:

  • Your Barina doesn’t start on the first try
  • You need to jump-start your vehicle
  • The engine warning light is on
  • Your car isn’t running smoothly
  • The vehicle has been in long-term storage

Of course, a mycar technician can inspect your battery and tell you when it’s time for a new one. If you need advice, give us a call.

Affordable Holden Barina battery replacement

The price of a mycar battery installation starts at just $189, but the final cost can vary depending on your vehicle.

Before your appointment we’ll give you an upfront quote. The final price will include installation of your quality mycar battery, safe disposal of your old battery and an overall check of the unit.

Your service technician will also check the terminal and leads to ensure everything is working as it should.

What is the average Holden Barina battery size?

For a Holden Barina, you’ll be looking at a 12 volt mycar battery. However, the exact fit will depend on the year and series. Your service technician will be able to choose the right battery for your engine number.

Rest assured when you book with mycar, you’ll get a component that’s reliable, durable and powerful enough to run your Barina.

How long does a Barina battery last?

Most Holden Barina batteries will last up to 5 years. There are factors that can impact longevity, including the brand and the way you drive your car.

For example, if your vehicle has been sitting in storage for a long time, the battery can lose its ability to charge.

Where you live also makes a difference, and those in hot climates may notice their batteries need replacing more often. Sunny days can cause corrosion and put stress on your car’s essential components. The more you know!
