How long do Mitsubishi batteries last?

Mitsubishi car batteries last an average of six years, but may last anywhere from four to six, depending on where you live and how you drive. For example, someone who lives in extreme heat or cold will experience shorter battery life than someone in more moderate temperatures. While someone who only makes short trips will experience a shorter battery life than someone who makes longer trips more regularly.

How do you charge a mitsubishi battery?

Before you charge a Mitsubishi battery, you will want to remove the battery from the car, as a battery with power can give you a shock. Once your battery is disconnected, you will want to also make sure the charger is off. Then, hook-up the positive cable on the charger to the positive terminal on the battery. To complete the circuit, you then need to connect the negative charger cable to the negative battery terminal. You can then set the charger the slowest charge time and turn on the charger with a timer set.

The battery voltage will depend on the amount of time you need to charge your battery, but may take 5 to 12 hours. If the cell is dead, the battery will not charge. This is why it’s often best to leave it to your local mechanic to test your battery.
