Whizz, bang, pop! Don’t let the next word out of your mouth be one we can’t repeat. If you’re experiencing transmission issues—and it’s really grinding your gears—we know just the place to get it sorted. Your nearest mycar is the top pick when it comes to a transmission specialist you can rely on.

We also take the stress out of those unexpected car bills. We have the usual ways to pay (cash and credit card) but we also have the flexibility of Zip Pay, available both instore and online.

How do you know your transmission isn’t working properly?

We know every car and customer is different and that’s why we approach each situation individually. We encourage our customers to stick to a regular maintenance schedule for their car. Why? Wear and tear on a transmission all depends on how often, how far and where you travel with your vehicle.

So how do you know your transmission isn’t working properly? In a manual car, you’ll notice your gear slips or doesn’t get into gear properly, causing an awful grinding sound. In an automatic car, you’ll notice the car struggling to switch gears or leaking fluid underneath the car.

If we come across any issues, we’ll carry out a full inspection on the vehicle, repair or replace any affected components and carry out a test to ensure your vehicle is in good running order before handing it back to you.
