Maximise your BYD Seal performance

If you’ve ever owned a fuel-powered car, you know that it needs regular servicing to keep it in good working order. Your EV is no different.

While less mechanically involved than a petrol car, EVs still need maintenance. It’s recommended that you service your BYD 3 months after driving it off the lot, then every year after that. This ensures that any small issues can be found and fixed, so they don’t become a big headache.

If you own a BYD Seal EV, it’s easy to bring it into mycar no matter how long you’ve had it. We’re fully equipped with everything your BYD needs, and our logbook servicing means that it’ll always perform as intended, with no surprises.

FAQs

Does the BYD Seal have air suspension?

While the Seal doesn’t have air suspension like some other BYD models, the BYD Seal does have semi-active suspension technology that responds to driving conditions. It uses variable frequency dampers to adjust to the road, so if you’re on smooth asphalt, it optimises for stability and handling. If the road is rough, the damping reduces and the suspension is better able to absorb impacts to give you a smoother ride.

What is the range of a BYD Seal in Km?

The Seal’s highly efficient Blade Battery has a claimed 520 km or 570 km range depending on the model. That said, there’s a range of variables that can affect this, like city vs highway driving and accessory usage, so it’s good to keep that in mind when considering the battery life. .
