  • 4. Inspection of underbody

A visual inspection will be conducted for leaks from your engine, exhaust system, fuel line and gearbox.

  • 7. Suspension system check

Logbook service

What we recommend as it ensures your car gets exactly what it needs, when it needs it. Equal to giving your car a spa day.

  • Includes the checks, work and part replacements recommended by the car's manufacturer at specific times, often referred to as a scheduled service.
  • Increase vehicle resale value as it shows you look after your car.
  • It will also keep your new car warranty for newbies, for added peace of mind.
Basic servicing

At mycar we call these our Basic Services, but you might know it as a minor or fixed price service.

  • Includes a Detailed Vehicle Inspection safety check, new engine oil and a new oil filter.
  • We'll report on anything needed to keep your car (Betty? Bruce? Cassandra?) in tip top shape, even if they are starting to show their age.

When it’s time for a car service, Sunshine Coast mycar are here to help

Wondering if your car might be due for a checkup? Most cars will benefit from being serviced every six months, or for every 10,000km driven, whichever comes first. We offer both logbook and basic servicing, to suit every car and budget.

Logbook servicing is the recommended option for newer cars. This involves following the schedule set out by the manufacturer and recording the details in the physical logbook your car came with. Not only will this ensure your car remains in optimal health, it can help to boost resale value down the track.

Basic servicing takes care of older cars or those without a logbook, and can be a little friendlier on the hip pocket while still offering excellent value and the same high standards of care that set mycar apart. With an Essential Service, your car will undergo a comprehensive detailed vehicle inspection and receive a change of oil and oil filter. With an Essential Plus Service, you’ll also get:

  • 12 months of free roadside assistance
  • Engine management system scan
  • Wheel rotation as required
