How much is a Ford Focus battery?

A high-quality battery will cost upwards of $200. Newer models require more powerful batteries, which can impact the price. That’s because their electronics and advanced technologies require more energy to run. Get the best car battery for your budget, but remember that the higher quality units will make a world of difference in the lifespan of your battery.

How long do Ford Focus batteries last?

If you’ve bought quality, your Ford Focus car battery should last between 3-5 years. As with all car parts though, maintenance is key to making sure you get the most from it. Here’s a few things to keep in mind for a long-lasting battery:

  • Avoid extremes - hot and cold can shorten a battery’s life
  • Unsealed roads won’t do your battery any favours, as they cause vibrations that can damage it internally
  • Take care of your terminals - regular checks and servicing ensures that corrosion doesn’t build up and your battery can properly charge.

What kind of battery does a Ford Focus use?

To get the right battery for your Ford Focus, ask our technicians at mycar—or check the owner’s manual as it can differ between year models. An Enhanced Flooded Cell battery provides more charges and a longer lifespan as a result, making these types a popular choice.

We’re also happy to take a look for you and advise you on the best options, so feel free to drop into mycar and use our expertise!
