The easy and reliable oil change Perth car owners love

Car dashboard

There’s plenty to see around Perth, whether you’re cruising the open roads or taking in the sights and sounds of the beach. Driving is a dream—unless your car is in dire need of an oil change.

When your car oil is low or it’s looking a little worse for wear, it can’t do its job to lubricate your car’s moving parts, and may cause your engine to overheat. So if it’s been a while since your last oil change in Perth, it’s time to book one in at mycar.

Waiting until payday? You don’t have to, because mycar offers Zip Pay and Afterpay to make changing your oil quick, easy and affordable.

What’s included in a Perth oil change?

The average oil change in Perth costs between $150 to $200. This price includes:

  • Warming up your car and oil
  • Draining your old oil
  • Installing a new premium oil filter
  • Replacing your old oil with premium oil designed for your specific engine
  • Checking your dipstick to ensure your oil is where it should be

Then you’re on your way with your car as good as new!

It’s good to note that we also perform oil changes as part of our servicing options, which are a great way to keep on top of it.

How customers feel about our Car Servicing

What are the signs you need an oil change in Perth?

So, how do you know when to change your oil? Your car will give you signs it needs an oil change, including:

  • Your check engine light is turning on
  • Your oil is dark or murky
  • Dark smoke is coming from your exhaust
  • There’s a knocking sound coming from your engine, meaning your oil is as low as it can get and your parts aren’t getting lubricated

It sounds scary, but by checking your car’s oil using the dipstick every few weeks, and bringing it in for regular servicing, it’s easy to spot the signs early.
