Is it worth paying for a car service?

Regular car servicing is essential to maintaining a healthy car. Engine oil degrades over time, becoming thick and viscous, so that it no longer lubricates the moving parts of the engine. This leaves it open to wear, overheating and serious damage. Oil and oil filter replacement during a service is key to engine health.

Can I service my car myself?

While it is possible to replace engine oil and filter yourself, and top up other car fluids, it takes an experienced eye to check for other, less obvious signs of trouble brewing. When you book a service with mycar, your mechanic will perform an detailed vehicle inspection to look for indications of damage and wear developing throughout the car.
