Why get an oil change?

Engine oil: it’s the golden lifeblood of your car that keeps it purring. Getting your oil changed and topped up regularly will keep the oil doing its job efficiently, helping to avoid clogs, wear and tear and potentially serious (and costly) issues caused by grit getting into your engine. An oil change with mycar is convenient, easy and will have you back on those beautiful Sydney roads in a flash.

How much does an oil change cost in Sydney?

A standard oil change cost in Sydney is around $150-$200, but this can vary depending on how much and what kind of oil your car needs. A full oil change is part of mycar’s Essential Service, starting at just $229. Your car’s oil will need changing about every 6 months, so getting it as part of a service makes sense, but if you’d just like your oil changed it’s no problem.

When you bring your car into mycar, we take care of the messy business of draining and responsibly disposing of your old grimy oil, so you don’t have to. We’ll swap your oil filter with a premium one, and replace your old murky oil with the good stuff. Then we’ll finish off by inspecting your engine for any leaks, checking the dipstick to make sure it’s at the right level.
