How much is a Subaru car battery?

A Subaru car battery will cost between $200 and $300. However, this can vary depending on the model and year of your car. Talk to your mycar mechanic about the battery most suitable for your model of car and driving needs.

How long do Subaru batteries last?

You can expect to get anywhere between 3-4 years from your Subaru battery. This is just an average, with several factors like the climate and driving habits impacting your battery’s lifespan. When your battery starts to age, it’s important to have it checked regularly to make sure it’s running at its best.

What kind of battery does a Subaru take?

The type of battery your car will take will depend on the model and vehicle type. While some Subaru models are suited to a regular car battery, others will require a more heavy-duty SUV and 4WD-type battery to account for the excess power these vehicles need. You’ll find your exact type of battery in the owner’s manual or ask your mechanic to recommend the battery for the best performance of your car.

How much does it cost to change a Subaru battery?

The cost of changing your Subaru battery will vary depending on the cost of the battery and the labour required for the replacement. When you book in with mycar, we’ll give you an upfront cost. This includes the Subaru battery price and cost of labour. We’ll also take care of the old unit, and perform a check of all the battery terminals, leads and alternator.

At mycar, we understand that repairs can pop up at the worst time! We offer flexible payment options like Zip Pay and Afterpay, helping you to get back on the road, while worrying about the cost in budget-friendly chunks.
