How does it work?

Upon arrival, our team will assess whether your vehicle is parked in a good spot where we can safely swap over the tyres. If not, don’t worry – we can help you find an optimal parking place nearby. As a general rule, we will need to park our van no more than 15 metres away, and have about 75 centimetres of clearance either side of your car to get the job done. As part of our service, you can opt to have your wheels balanced, which will help to extend the life of your new tyres. We will also check for signs of uneven wear that may indicate issues with wheel alignment and can book you in for an alignment at one of our convenient mycar store locations.

How do we treat a flat tyre?

For a lot of flat tyre situations, it’s simply a matter of performing a puncture repair: the tyre is separated from the rim, sealant is used to patch up the hole, and the tyre is put back on the rim and reinflated. This process usually takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. If the puncture is too large to be patched or has happened in the shoulder or side wall of the tyre, the solution is to replace the whole tyre. This can also be done as part of our onsite service. When everything is ship-shape again, your tyre repair technician can rotate and balance the wheels on the spot.
