    What does a comprehensive vehicle inspection include?

    The inspection will include everything the manufacturer specifies and is required for the logbook service. Everything below, and much much more!

    • 1. Test drive

      The engine, drivetrain, brakes and suspension in your vehicle will be tested to ensure that they are up to standard.

    • 2. Operational check

      The standard components of your vehicle such as seat belts, lights, wipers including washers and arm mechanism, horn will be inspected. The air/cabin filters and housing will also be checked.

    • 3. Digital battery check

      Your battery will be tested and printed results will be provided.

    • 4. Inspection of underbody

      A visual inspection will be conducted for leaks from your engine, exhaust system, fuel line and gearbox.

    How to change oil in a Nissan Patrol

    Changing oil is something you can do if you know your way around your Nissan Patrol. Changing oil in a Nissan Patrol usually looks something like this:

    1. For many models of Patrol, the first step is to run a flushing agent through your system. This can be added via your standard oil input.

    2. Once your engine has had time to run the flush through the system (about 15 minutes), it's ready to drain.

    3. You'll need to get under the car for this step so we suggest jacking it up or using a hoist—always ensure that the vehicle is stable and cannot fall before entering the space underneath.

    4. Place a container to collect the used oil underneath the vehicle before removing the plug. Once the old oil has drained, switch your old filter out for the new one (remembering to lubricate the new filter slightly by running a little oil around the edge).

    5. You're now ready to put everything back together and fill your engine up.
